  1. I know, it is so sad. I was just talking to my friend about this. Even though we never met him, we just connected with him and this just hit us hard. He will be missed.

  3. It breaks my heart to see how many talented celebrities and musicians pass every year. I feel as though all of the talent is sifting through the hands of the artistic community. I'm sorry, I'm old school too, and just can't get into most of the new stuff. I absolutely don't get Lady GaGa and I was a Bowie and Elton fan during their flamboyant days.
I read your bio and related to most of your likes...especially Neil Young. My husband and I are huge fans of his. Now that's one SOB who can make music!
I am saddened by the loss of your husband, and wish I could tell you that you'll find that kind of love again, but you know I'd be lying. Perhaps love, but the way you described what the two of you had is 'once in a lifetime' stuff. Feel blessed though, at least you can say you've had that. Many are still searching and running out of time looking for it.
I'm so glad you took the time to stop by my site and I'm going to have to peruse yours more thoroughly when I get a few spare minutes. Take care. -Lou-

  7. His loss is a profound one, and it's good to see that the fans, the media, and Bruce himself have left behind such eloquent words in his honor.

    RIP, Big Man.

  9. Thanks for your kind words that Cookie regain his sight and your offer of help.

Cookie is home and happier. The emerg. vet on duty has seen this type of condition and says he has 50% chance of regaining his sight, if within 2 weeks. We're keeping our fingers and paws crossed he regains at least some of his sight.
