He "stopped by" and spent the night with us in Christchurch, NZ, on his way to Vietnam in 1963. I have two photos of Ralph taken at a picnic in the mountains probably around the fall of 1961, maybe early 1962. My mom would have been the best person to ask, but she passed in 2002. I have never been to the real Vietnam memorial but the traveling memorial came to Falmouth and I found the name of a man i had a crush on in high school. it was very moving.
